Today we are going to tell you about Lucknow's Gomti Nagar Railway Station. Gomti Nagar Railway Station comes under the hi-tech railway station of Uttar Pradesh. 

This station has been built like Kolkata Airport. Where people go inside through the ramp and facilities like skywalk are also available above the platforms. 

World class facilities are available at Gomti Nagar Railway Station in Uttar Pradesh. This railway station has been modernized like an airport. To modernize the railway station, facilities like 9 lifts, 9 escalators and food court have been provided. 

The hall has been made AC so that passengers can feel comfortable while waiting for the train. Gomti Nagar Railway Station is the first railway station in Uttar Pradesh where passengers are getting Vishwa Kshatriya facilities. 

Rs. 385 crore has been spent to make this hi-tech station. A driveway has been built to make the movement of passengers easy. A 458 meter long flyover has been built on the first floor. 

Gomti Nagar railway station has been renovated this year. Thousands of passengers travel from here daily. On the lines of Gomti Nagar, Charbagh station and Lucknow junction with short line will be redeveloped at a cost of 385 crores.

Gomtinagar station was inaugurated this year. Thousands of passengers travel here. Like Gomtinagar, the nearly 100-year-old Charbagh station and the narrow gauge Lucknow Junction will be redeveloped at a cost of Rs 385 crore.

Currently, around eight thousand passengers travel daily by 23 trains including Patna Vande Bharat Express. The station serves major routes including Gorakhpur Junction, Chhapra and Barauni Junction. 

There are 2 weekly trains connecting Gorakhpur Junction to Lucknow, 2 weekly trains from Chhapra to Lucknow and 1 weekly train from Barauni Junction to Lucknow. 

Like Gomtinagar, a skywalk will be built to connect Charbagh station and Lucknow Junction, which will be connected to Charbagh metro station. There will be underground parking arrangement for the arrival of trains. 

Nearly five dozen trains arriving at Charbagh railway station remain standing on the outer track from 6 pm to 12 midnight due to lack of platforms. 

In the past one year, work is underway to convert the two lanes from Charbagh to Dilkusha into four lanes, replace the cutting bridge, build two new platforms and build a maintenance road for Vande Bharat Express to increase its services.

These will be Amrit stations 

According to media reports, the development of these stations near Lucknow is yet to be completed: Uttaretia, Mohanlalganj, Nigohan, Anupganj, Bakkas, Malhaur, Manaknagar, Amausi, Piparkhand, Haroni, Malihabad, Kakori, Mohibullapur, Itaunja, Chakshi Ka Talab stations. Many of these stations have already been included in Amrit Station. 

Connectivity of these cities will be easy 

At present, like metros like Mumbai and Delhi, people will have the option of traveling by trains from many stations near them, for this the railways will develop the Alam Nagar-Transport Nagar and Uttaretia section as a new corridor. 

In this way, trains coming from Bareilly will not go to Charbagh but will go towards Varanasi and Prayagraj via Alam Nagar, Transport Nagar-Uttretia via Amethi and Sultanpur. People of a large area including Kanpur Road, Rae Bareli Road, Rajajipuram, Para will get relief.
