IMD Weather Alert: These 20 districts of Rajasthan will receive heavy rains for 3 days

IMD Alert: The rain continued in Kota city of Rajasthan on Monday as well. Heavy rain was witnessed here for about an hour in the afternoon. Due to which a lot of water accumulated in the drains and on the roads. 

 

IMD Weather Alert: The scorching heat in Rajasthan has made people's life miserable. But on Monday, due to the effect of early monsoon, there has been a rapid decrease in the heat. 

Many cities of Rajasthan are witnessing rain today and a drop in temperature is also being recorded. Meanwhile, we are going to tell you about the latest update released by the Meteorological Department today. 

The Meteorological Department said that a yellow alert has been issued for Ajmer, Alwar, Bharatpur, Bundi, Dholpur, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar, Sirohi, Tonk, Churu, Jalore, Nagaur and Pali districts of Rajasthan from June 17 to 20. 

The Meteorological Department said that along with rain, strong winds can also blow in these districts which will blow at a speed of about 40 to 50 kilometers per hour.

Kota received 2 inches of rain. Meanwhile, pre-monsoon hit Hadoti region on Sunday night. Heavy rain fell in the city at 12 o'clock last night. There was lightning in the sky and it rained heavily after an hour. The weather department recorded 2 inches of rain in Kota city in 24 hours. 

26 mm of rain fell on Sunday night. While 20 mm of rain was recorded between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm on Monday. The maximum temperature fell by 6 degrees to 33.0 and the minimum temperature fell by 3 degrees to 25.0 degrees Celsius. The humidity in the morning was 83 and by evening it was 92 percent. 

The roads were flooded. The rain continued on Monday as well. It rained heavily for about an hour in the afternoon, due to which the drains overflowed and the roads were flooded. 

The rain exposed the reality of the municipal corporation's drain cleaning system. Due to heavy rain, people got relief from the humidity. The drizzle continued till 7 pm. The weather became pleasant due to the cool breeze. 

In Jhalawar district, heavy rain occurred at Dag, Panwad, Manoharthana, Sojpur etc. places after 2.30 pm. Jhalawar and Jhalarapatan city received light rain in the evening. 

Bundi city witnessed light drizzle for some time amid the movement of clouds throughout the day. At the same time, moderate rain occurred in Keshavrayapatan and Kapren, Khatkad.
