Monsoon Rajasthan 2025: Strong signs of arrival of monsoon in Rajasthan, rain alert in 28 districts
Monsoon: There is now hope of spring in the dry dunes of Rajasthan, because the active system in the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal has given speed to the monsoon, due to which there is a possibility of good rains in entire North India, especially Rajasthan.
Monsoon Rajasthan 2025: Now spring is about to come in the dry dunes of Rajasthan. The weather of northern India has changed due to the pressure of the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal.
After a delay of about 20 days, the monsoon has finally picked up its pace, and now it has reached the threshold of Rajasthan. Meteorologists predict that the monsoon will formally arrive in the state by Wednesday or Thursday.
Clear sign of the arrival of monsoon
The monsoon, which has reached the border of Rajasthan for the last two days (16 and 17 June), is now preparing to slowly enter the state.
Also, the pre-monsoon rains continuing for the last 48 hours have given a clear indication of the arrival of monsoon. Many districts including Jaipur, Kota, Bharatpur and Udaipur received light rains on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Heavy rain occurred in 12 districts
Heavy rains occurred in twelve districts of the state on Tuesday. Jaipur, Tonk, Dausa, Bhilwara, Bundi and Alwar received rainfall ranging from one to three inches. People got relief from the intense heat and humidity due to this rain, but incidents of lightning raised concerns. Two people, including a child, were killed due to lightning in Deeg and Bayana of Bharatpur district.
Rain warning in 28 districts
On Wednesday, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a rain alert in 28 districts of Rajasthan. There is a warning of heavy rain in 15 districts.
This warning has been implemented in Jaipur, Ajmer, Kota, Banswara, Jhalawar, Sirohi and Pratapgarh districts. Drizzling rain in many places since morning has made the weather pleasant.
Udaipur entrance damaged due to rain
Udaipur city received light rain from Tuesday night to Wednesday morning. Due to the rain, a part of the entrance gate on Dudhtalai road collapsed.
The city received rain at 9 pm on Tuesday night, which lasted for about an hour. Then the rain started again at 2 pm and light to moderate rain occurred till 6 am.
Agriculture and public life got relief
The arrival of monsoon has brought smiles on the faces of farmers. Preparations for sowing of Kharif crops, which had been halted earlier, can now be accelerated.
People have also got relief from the fall in temperature in cities. The temperature was around 40 degrees last week, but now it has dropped to 34-36 degrees.
The weather department's alert and the presence of clouds in the sky across the state have made it clear that this time the monsoon is going to come in full swing in Rajasthan. Now only the first heavy rain is expected, which will also soak the land of the region and revive life.
