UP News: The National Highway Authority of India has completed the survey work for another 150 km long four-lane in Uttar Pradesh. Now the DPR of this four-lane is being prepared.
At present, due to this route being a two-lane, drivers have to face traffic jams and many problems. But now after the construction of 4 lanes, such problems will be completely eliminated.
NHAI will build a 150 km long four-lane highway to connect Brass City Moradabad to Aligarh. This route will connect to Meerut-Prayagraj Ganga Expressway in Badaun.
Excessive pressure of vehicles
Now a team of engineers is preparing the DPR of this road. As soon as the report is ready, it will be sent to the central government for approval. This road will be built as a greenfield project.
The existing road from Moradabad to Aligarh is a two-lane road, on which there is a lot of pressure of vehicles. On the demand of the people and the initiative of public representatives, the central government has instructed NHAI to make it a four-lane road. NHAI has completed the survey from Moradabad to Aligarh and Bijnor.
The distance from Moradabad to Aligarh is about 150 km. The traffic pressure on this route has been assessed. In the survey, it was seen where toll plazas, flyovers, bridges, footbridges and commercial activities like shops would be located.
Land of 31 villages will be taken
This road will be built under the Greenfield project. Land will also be acquired for this. Moradabad-Aligarh road will be extended to Bijnor. Also, this road will be connected to Ganga Expressway in Badaun.
This project will facilitate movement between eastern and western Uttar Pradesh. Land from 31 villages of Aligarh district will be acquired for this road. Plants will also be planted on the divider in the middle so that the road is full of greenery.
