UP News: 9 bridges, 4 flyovers and roads will be built in this district of UP, there will be relief from jam

UP News: According to KDA Board Chairman, Vice Chairman and Municipal Commissioner, under this scheme, an action plan is being prepared for the construction of roads, bridges, flyovers worth Rs 50 thousand crores in this district of Uttar Pradesh.

 

Uttar Pradesh News: A network of bridges, flyovers and roads will be laid to get rid of traffic jams in Kanpur city of Uttar Pradesh. KDA, Municipal Corporation, Setu Nigam have prepared an action plan of Rs 50 thousand crores, which will be presented to the Chief Minister within a week. 

This includes the construction of seven railway over bridges including a 750 meter long bridge over Juhi Khalwa bridge, four bridges on the Ganga river, four elevated flyovers including Maryampur intersection to Barra, etc.

Kanpur, Meerut, Mathura-Vrindavan will be developed as model cities. According to KDA Board Chairman, Vice Chairman and Municipal Commissioner, a work plan is being prepared for the construction of roads, bridges and flyovers with an amount of Rs 50 thousand crores under this scheme in Kanpur.

Under the scheme, the Municipal Corporation has prepared various projects including construction of roads, building three children's parks, plantation of trees. 

These are being included in the action plan. Also, under this scheme, the PWD is preparing proposals for construction of roads, widening, bridge construction etc.

Tender for Jaribchoki, Ganga bridge in July

Setu Nigam is preparing a tender draft for the construction of a bridge at the Jarib Chowki railway crossing connecting GT Road to Kalpi Road. The length of the bridge will be 1800 meters, with ramps descending on all four sides. 

A tender is also being prepared to build a 1200 meter long bridge near the old Shuklaganj Ganga bridge at a cost of Rs 320 crore. Setu Nigam's Chief Project Manager Vijay Kumar Sen said that tenders for the construction of bridges will be issued in July.

DPR of elevated road sent for approval

NH PWD has prepared a DPR from Hyderabad's Hexa Company to build an 11 km long four lane elevated flyover from Ramadevi to Gol Chauraha on GT Road. It was sent for approval two months ago, but then it was returned with some objections.

Two more bridges will be built on Ganga

Two bridges will be built on the Ganga in the ring road too. One bridge will be built near Deori Ghat and the other between the barrage and Bithoor. Preparations have begun for the construction of the bridge near Deori Ghat, while tenders have been invited for the construction of the ring road till Mandhana.
