Uttar Pradesh News: Bharatmala Expressway will pass through this district of UP, land acquisition process completed

Bharatmala Project: Under the Bharatmala Project, several ambitious projects are being run to modernize and speed up the highway and expressway network across the country. One of these is the Greenfield Expressway connecting Kolkata to Ranchi via Varanasi, the construction of which is currently progressing rapidly.=

 

Uttar Pradesh News: The construction of Kolkata-Varanasi-Ranchi Expressway is progressing rapidly under the Bharatmala Project. This highway starts from Revasan village (PDDU Nagar Tehsil area) and goes up to Dharauli, Bihar border, about 22 km. Work is going on at a fast pace on this big scheme of the central government. It will accelerate regional development and will also create new employment opportunities.

Compensation to farmers 

Machines are available 24 hours a day for construction work. Farmers have been compensated and their land has been acquired. 

Work has started at most places. It is expected that the project can be completed soon. People gave mixed reactions to the project. 

They lost their farms due to the construction of the highway, but they have received proper compensation. They said that the construction of the road will increase trade, ease transportation and improve basic facilities, such as education and health.

Employment of local workers in the construction work is bringing economic benefits, said young Santosh Kumar Yadav. Real estate is also changing. Land prices are increasing rapidly. 

Due to which many people are getting wealth. Overall, this expressway being built under the Bharatmala project in Chandauli district will not only improve transportation. 

But will also promote social and economic development of the region. The compensation process is very important keeping in mind the situation of farmers and local people.
