Haryana CET Latest Update: Big news for CET pass candidates, now exam marks will be valid only for 3 years

Haryana CET Update: Haryana government made a big change in the recruitment process, notification of new rules issued, now Common Eligibility Test ...

Haryana's Saini government has taken a big decision regarding direct recruitment of Group C and D. Now the marks obtained under the Common Eligibility Test (CET) will be considered valid only for three years.

This means that if a candidate passes the CET, then he will be able to participate in recruitment on the basis of those marks only for the next three years from the date of its result.

The new rules will be implemented from 2025.

On Wednesday, Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi issued its official notification on behalf of the state government. According to this, this process will now be called "Haryana Staff Selection Commission (Recruitment Process for Group C and D Posts) Rules, 2025".

You will not get a chance if you cross the age limit.

As per the new guidelines of the government, if the age of any candidate exceeds the prescribed limit during the CET validity period, he/she will not be able to appear in the written exam or skill test again, even if he/she scores good marks.

What will change for police and teacher recruitment?

Now it will be mandatory to give physical efficiency test for recruitment to Group C posts in the police department.

At the same time, for the teaching posts, it will be necessary for the candidates to pass HTET (Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test).

However, it has been made clear that passing HTET will be mandatory, but the marks obtained in HTET will not be included in the merit list. Merit will be made only on the basis of written examination and other decided criteria.

This decision of the government is being considered an important step towards making the recruitment process transparent and time bound. Now the candidates will have to focus more on their preparation, because the CET marks will no longer remain with them forever.
