Uttar Pradesh News: A new expressway will be built between 3 states including UP and Rajasthan, land will be acquired from 30 villages

UP News: People are going to get better connectivity between Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh in the coming time. A big update has come regarding the construction of Greenfield Expressway. The work of distributing money in exchange for land acquisition in 30 villages for this expressway is in its final stage. For this, 30 villages have been acquired, which are in three states. Construction will start in November.

 

Uttar Pradesh News: This can be considered a big step towards improving connectivity between Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. 

This Greenfield Expressway will make the movement between Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh direct and fast. It is especially important from the economic, social and industrial point of view. 

Copying the Yamuna Expressway, the construction of the 88 km long Green Field Expressway will start from November. For this, the land acquisition work in Agra, Dholpur and Morena has been completed and the final stage is to give money to the beneficiaries. The construction of Dholpur-Agra Six Lane Greenfield Expressway will start from November, which will be 88 km long. 

Land acquisition

NHAI has awarded a contract of Rs 4612.65 crore to Udaipur-based GR Infra Projects Company to build the 88.400 km long Greenfield Expressway in three states of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. 

The work will start from November and should be completed in 30 months by 2028. The six-lane Greenfield Expressway connects four districts of Madhya Pradesh. For this, land has been acquired from 14 villages of Uttar Pradesh, 18 villages of Rajasthan and 30 villages of Madhya Pradesh.

Acquisition of 5 hectares of land of Susaira village of Gwalior and 250 hectares of land of 25 villages including Dimni, Chambal Cross and Morena Road of Morena

Agra in Uttar Pradesh

Deori Agra Bypass,

132 hectares of land acquired near 18 villages including Iradat Nagar, Shmashwad and Sosa

Dhaulpur in the state of Rajasthan

Acquisition of 162 hectares of land for 23 villages including Macharia in Dholpur.

Current Amount Distribution

After the completion of land acquisition work in the Green Field Expressway project, the work of giving money to the beneficiaries is in the final stage. 

As soon as this work is completed, work will start from November. All the processes including NOCC have been completed. This expressway will connect Morena Dimni directly to Maharajpura area of ​​Gwalior via Shanishchara area. 
Now with the completion of land acquisition work in more than 30 villages included in the project, the award amount is being given to the affected farmers.

Porsa, Abah and Dimni will get more benefits

The people of Dimni, Abah and Porsa area will benefit the most from the construction of the expressway. Because the people of these areas still take about four hours to travel 130 kilometers to Agra. After the construction of the expressway, the distance of fifty kilometers will be able to reach Agra in one and a half hours.

The road also needs to be repaired

Along with the Greenfield Expressway project, the company will also have to repair National Highway 44 running from Gwalior to Dholpur. The company will be given only one year to repair the current highway, that is, the company will have to repair this highway by October 2026.

Analysis of the project

31,435 four-wheelers will be able to run on the Greenfield Expressway at a time.

With the construction of the expressway, people will save one and a half hours of time. It currently takes three hours to reach Agra from Gwalior, but with the expressway it will take only 90 minutes.

The expressway will pass through 63 villages (Agra, Dholpur, Morena and Gwalior) covering 550 hectares of land.

Vehicles travelling at speeds of over 100 kilometres will have GPS-based toll systems and advanced traffic management systems.

If the vehicle stops or an accident occurs, the ambulance, fire fighter and CAN will get information from the control room.

Tunnels and via ducts will be constructed for forest circulation and environment.

All the hilly areas will be re-lined and there will be no ghats anywhere on the road.
