Uttar Pradesh News: Noida (Jewar) International Airport in Uttar Pradesh is expanding rapidly, and in this process a big plan has come up to provide better compensation and other facilities to the farmers.
An employment portal has been created for the children of farmers affected by Noida International Airport. The portal was inaugurated by Jewar MLA, YIDA CEO and District Magistrate.
The land was acquired in the first and second phases, now the process is going on in the third phase. Eligible youth will get jobs on the basis of merit by applying online.
Employment portal launched to provide employment to children
On Monday, the portal was launched to provide employment to the children of farmers affected by the land acquisition of Noida International Airport.
Youth will be able to apply for jobs through this portal. Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh, YIDA CEO Dr. Arunvir Singh and District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma launched the portal at the site of Noida International Airport.
1334 hectares of land has been given from six villages for Noida International Airport. In the second phase also 1365 hectares of land has been given to six villages. 2053 hectares of land in 14 villages is being acquired in the third phase. Employment was offered to the farmers affected by land acquisition.
Air service is going to start from the airport in a few months. Therefore, an attempt has also been made to provide employment to the youth affected by land acquisition. Youth will be able to apply on the portal launched.
Employment opportunities will be available in industrial areas
Jobs will be available in local industrial areas on the basis of qualification. There will be camps for youth applications. The MLA said that this is an effort to fulfill the promise made to the government.
The portal will be transparent, CEO Arunvir Singh has said this. District Magistrate Manish Verma said that the administration already has a comprehensive database of the children of the affected families.
Soon it will be linked to the portal. Children of farmers who give land for the airport for the first time will get priority in employment. Jobs will be given as per qualification
