Under this project, applications were given to give land in 5 villages through land pooling. Lucknow's IT City will be developed in such a way that it attracts private investment.
For this, about 445.65 acres of area will be reserved for industrial activities and about 260 acres of area for commercial activities in the plan.
IT City Scheme
The Lucknow Development Authority's (LDA) IT City plan is working well. In this plan, ten sectors directly connected to Sultanpur Road and Kisan Path will be developed. Construction of grid roads will start from next month as per the layout. Land search for the plan is progressing rapidly.
On Thursday, the authority signed an agreement for 20 bighas of land with a landowner through land pooling. Calling the landowner to the office, LDA Vice President Prathamesh Kumar handed over the agriculture department.
5,000 residential plots constructed
LDA Vice President Prathamesh Kumar said that the area of the proposed IT City between Sultanpur National Highway and Kisan Path will be increased from 2,858 acres to 2,858 acres. It will include land of Village Bakkas, Sonai Kanjehra, Sikandarpur Amoliya, Siddhpura, Parehta, Pahadnagar Tikaria, Rakibabad, Mohari Khurd, Khujauli and Bhatwara of Mohanlalganj Tehsil.
This scheme will be very beneficial for the people due to the best road connectivity. About 5,000 residential plots will be built in the scheme, whose area will be from 72 square meters to 200 square meters. Along with this, bigger plots will also be planned.
In this way, IT City will be developed, which will attract private investment. For this, about 445.65 acres of area will be reserved for industrial activities and about 260 acres of area for commercial activities.
This will promote commercial and industrial activities and create employment opportunities. Apart from this, Golf City will be built in a large area of about 200 acres of green belt in the scheme. Also, the Water Body Scheme will be spread over about fifteen acres, which will be environmentally friendly.
Proposal for 300 bigha land received through land pooling
The work of acquiring land for the scheme is going on at a fast pace, said Joint Secretary Sushil Pratap Singh. 39 landowners have applied under this scheme to give more than 300 bighas of their land through land pooling.
On Thursday, Vivek Agarwal and Ansh Agarwal of A-Square Company handed over about 20 bighas of their land in Mohari Khurd village to the authority through land pooling.

An excellent network of wide roads will provide smooth traffic in the IT city. According to the layout, LDA Vice President Prathamesh Kumar has ordered Chief Engineer Navneet Sharma to start the development work.
For this, the construction of 45 meter, 30 meter, 24 meter and 18 meter wide grid roads will start next month.
The joint secretary said that the work of building a local office is going on in Mohari Khurd village. Two Naib Tehsildars, two Amins, two Lekhpals and two employees have been appointed to work closely with the farmers.
