Varanasi-Kolkata Expressway: Big update on the land acquired for this expressway from UP to Bihar, order issued

Bihar News: The work of roads, four-lane and expressways is still going on in many districts of Bihar. So that the peasants who give their land for the construction of Varanasi-Kolkata Expressway do not face any problem, an order has been issued to do so.

 

Varanasi-Kolkata Expressway: These days, the work of expanding the road, four-lane and expressway network is going on rapidly in Bihar. 

The Varanasi-Kolkata Expressway, which is an ambitious greenfield project, also includes land from many districts of Bihar. The government has taken an important step for the raiyats (landowners) who have given land for this project.

The year 2025 is the election year for Bihar. In such a situation, Bihar and the central government are building roads, four-lanes and expressways in many districts of the state. 

Meanwhile, instructions have been issued to the farmers who have given land for the construction of the Varanasi-Kolkata Expressway. 

Both construction work and compensation payment on the acquired land for the construction of the Varanasi-Ranchi-Kolkata Greenfield Expressway have intensified. 

In such a situation, the farmers have been told not to plant the upcoming paddy crop on the acquired land. So that the construction work is not affected in any way and the farmers do not suffer loss of money.

Only the tenants can suffer damage

According to the information, the farmers who have given land for the expressway are busy preparing paddy crop. However, the land has been acquired for the Bharatmala project and the work has also started. 

Production of the crop will hinder the construction of the expressway, farmers will suffer financial loss and the compensation process will be hindered. Considering all these circumstances, orders have already been given for the farmers.

According to the news, the District Land Acquisition Officer has issued orders to the District Agriculture Officer, Block Agriculture Officer, Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer and all the concerned Zonal Officers regarding this matter. The peasants have been told to be made aware. 

The peasants were told that they will suffer losses if they cultivate the land acquired for the project. The officials of the Revenue Department and the Agriculture Department have been ordered to run an awareness campaign together. In such a situation, the work of Varanasi-Kolkata Expressway started very quickly.
