ट्रेन में महिलाएं रहेंगी सुरक्षित! रेलवे ने किया ये बड़ा ऐलान- Railway News 2025

Railway News 2025– If you travel by train, then now you will definitely get a sigh of relief. Indian Railways has taken many big steps regarding the safety of women, so that the journey can now become more safe and reliable. Now not only high-definition (HD) cameras are being installed in the coaches of mail and express trains, but every coach will also have SOS i.e. panic button which will be very useful in emergency.

Railway News 2025– Railways is preparing to install CCTV cameras in more than 11,000 coaches this year. These cameras will record in HD quality and the footage will be safe for up to a month. Women's coaches, general and sleeper coaches are being covered first. These cameras are being connected directly to the RPF control room, so that if there is any suspicious activity, action can be taken immediately.

Panic button will be mandatory in every new coach

Now whatever new coach is made, panic button will definitely be installed in it. This button will send alert directly to the loco pilot and security personnel. Not only this, it will also be connected to the mobile app, through which any female passenger can send an alert from her mobile. That means now help will be just a button away.

'Meri Saheli' team will become your companion

Railway's 'Meri Saheli' scheme is also spreading rapidly across the country. This team includes female RPF jawans, who travel in every long distance train. They monitor from the beginning to the last station and also help when needed. Currently, Meri Saheli team is deployed at about 200 stations and many women have got good confidence from it.

Smart security will be provided by AI and face recognition

Now the railways are not limited to just cameras and panic buttons. Soon, suspicious activities will be identified automatically through AI i.e. Artificial Intelligence. Apart from this, face recognition technology is also being installed under the Smart Station Project so that criminals can be caught immediately in the crowd. Deployment of women staff is being made mandatory especially at 700 sensitive stations.

‘Rail Madad’ will provide immediate help

Railways’ digital platform ‘Rail Madad’ now analyses passengers’ complaints and suggestions in real time. This gives immediate alert to security agencies and helps in preventing any incident. In case of emergency, you can also directly ask for help through Rail Madad.

It is not just about women’s safety, it is a social message

This is not just a technical change, but also a big social message from the Railways that women should no longer feel alone in train travel. CCTV, SOS button and Meri Saheli team together will now assure every female passenger that her safety is not just her responsibility – Railways is now with her.

Travel will become even safer

The purpose of all these changes is to not only make railway travel safe for women, but also to make them feel that they are completely protected. Technology, quick response and social participation – this combination of all three is taking the Railways in a new direction.
