But it is important that nowadays people use many types of metal utensils like copper and brass in homes. But milk should not be boiled in these utensils even by mistake. Note in which utensils it is dangerous to cook milk and milk products and in which it is safe.

Copper Content

There are many benefits of drinking water stored in a copper vessel. But milk or milk products should not be cooked or stored in a copper vessel. As soon as milk is heated in copper, it starts dissolving in the milk, which makes the milk poisonous.

Brass bread

Milk should not be cooked in a brass vessel if there is no direct brass surface and inner lining. Milk tea or milk kheer gets spoiled in a brass vessel.

Aluminum Board

Boiling or cooking milk in an aluminium vessel is generally considered safe. But this is not true. Cooking milk in an aluminium vessel adds more aluminium to the milk. Which increases the risk of Alzheimer's disease. On the other hand, aluminium has to be scraped to clean it. Due to which its elements leach into the milk.

Cheap quality steel

It is not safe to cook or boil milk in steel which is not food grade safe. The metal present in such utensils can make the milk poisonous.

It is safe to cook milk in glass vessels as they are non-reactive and do not leach any metal into the milk
