Clean Plant Program: Central government will set up 9 plants under the Clean Plant Program

Agriculture News: The central government is constantly taking new initiatives to strengthen and modernize the agriculture sector in the country. Many new projects are being started to attract farmers towards quality crops along with traditional farming.

Clean Plant Program: A commendable initiative has been taken by the central government towards promoting the agriculture sector in the country. Many projects are also being run in the country to encourage farmers to grow quality crops other than traditional farming. 

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has emphasized on promoting the agriculture sector. Under the Central Clean Plant Program Scheme, the plants that will be built across the country will directly benefit the farmers. 

The Union Agriculture Minister has emphasized on promoting the agriculture sector. He said that under the Clean Plant Program, nine plants will be set up across the country. 

Emphasis on horticulture and increasing farmers' income per hectare

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has emphasized on horticulture and increasing the per hectare income of farmers. For this, the central government is encouraging the agriculture sector. 

He said that now Maharashtra will also join the Clean Plant Program. Agriculture Minister Chauhan said that the responsibility of the Agriculture Minister is considered complete only when he visits the farmers' fields and listens to their problems directly. He said this after participating in the country's first international agriculture hackathon organized in Maharashtra.

Three CP Plants will be set up in Maharashtra

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that the Center is starting a Clean Plant Program (CPP). Nine plants will be built across the country under this program. The Center will spend Rs 300 crore to set up three of these plants in Maharashtra. These plants will be set up in Pune, Nagpur and Solapur districts of Maharashtra.

The goal of the Clean Plant Campaign 

The CPDP aims to increase the productivity and quality of fruit crops across the country. The programme aims to give farmers access to high-quality, virus-free planting material, irrespective of the size of their land. 

The agriculture minister said that we all have to work together to make the 'Vikashit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyaan' a success. On May 29, the Centre launched the fortnight, aimed at transforming the agriculture sector with the help of scientists. It wants to help make India the "food basket of the world".
