Delhhi new expressway

Delhi-Jaipur Expressway: People will soon get relief from the daily traffic jams on the Delhi-Jaipur Expressway. The government is preparing to make this expressway completely jam-free.

For this, a plan has been made to build a new elevated road from Dhaula Kuan in Delhi to Manesar in Haryana. The detailed project report (DPR) of this project will be prepared in the next three months.

The existing flyover will be connected to the elevated road

According to officials, the plan of where and how the elevated road will be connected to the existing flyover will also be included in the DPR.

Its purpose is to ensure that the flow of traffic continues without any obstruction. The construction of the elevated road will make travel between Delhi and Gurugram easier and faster.

The problem arose in the meeting of Union Ministers

Recently, an important meeting was held on this issue between Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari and Union Minister Rao Indrajit Singh.

In this meeting, Rao Indrajit Singh raised the serious problem of daily traffic jam between Delhi-Gurugram and demanded its solution as soon as possible. On this, Nitin Gadkari also admitted that the traffic increases a lot in the morning and evening.

Talks with Delhi government continue

Nitin Gadkari said that a plan is also being made to widen the main roads connecting Delhi and Gurugram. Talks are being held with the Delhi government regarding this. Along with this, he said that planning will be completed in the next one week to end the traffic jam on the Mahipalpur flyover.

Strict action against contractors for delay in construction

Rao Indrajit Singh also said that National Highway 352WA connecting Gurugram-Pataudi-Rewari is being built at a very slow pace. The deadline for its construction has been extended twice.

The work on Pataudi bypass has also not started yet. Expressing displeasure over this, Nitin Gadkari ordered the officials to take strict action against the contractors who delay the construction.

New companies will get construction work

Officials also informed that new tenders will now be issued to other companies to complete the incomplete construction of Manesar Elevated Flyover and Bilaspur Flyover. The purpose of this is that the work should be completed quickly and people can get relief soon.
