Haryana news: A big news has come from Kaithal district of Haryana. A 21 kilometer half marathon will be organized here on July 13. The winner of the first place in this marathon will get a prize of 1 lakh 21 thousand rupees.
The marathon will be organized from the Public Works Department Rest House located on Ambala Road. This marathon will be flagged off by the Chief Minister of the state Naib Singh Saini.
Three categories in the marathon
Three main categories have been included in this marathon, 21 km professional marathon, 10 km professional marathon and 5 km 'Run for Fun' race. Registration process is necessary to participate in these three categories and registration fees have also been fixed.
Registration fee
If you want to participate in the 21 km half marathon, you will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 200. To participate in the 10 km marathon, you will have to pay a fee of Rs 100.
There will be no registration fee to participate in the 5 km 'Run for Fun' race. Preparations for this event have been completed and it is expected that common people will participate in it in large numbers.
Prize money
DC Preeti gave information about the prize money of this marathon. The winner of the first place in the 21 km half marathon will get a prize of 1 lakh 21 thousand rupees.
The winner of the second place will get a cash prize of 1 lakh rupees and the winner of the third place will get a cash prize of 75 thousand rupees.
The winner of first place in the 10 kilometer marathon will get a prize of Rs 1 lakh, the winner of second place will get Rs 75 thousand and the winner of third place will get Rs 50 thousand.
