Railways have decided that now RAC passengers will also be given a full bedroll packet like confirmed tickets. Meaning now a RAC passenger will personally get two sheets, a blanket, a pillow and a towel. Earlier, two RAC passengers had to share the same seat and the same bedroll, which made the journey very uncomfortable. But now that problem will end.

This decision of the railway has come directly after the complaints of the passengers. Passengers holding RAC tickets for a long time had been complaining that they also pay the entire fare, yet why half the berth and incomplete facility are provided. Taking this issue seriously, the Railways has now decided to provide equal facilities to RAC passengers.

Railway Public Relations Officer of Varanasi Zone Ashok Kumar said that now RAC passengers will be provided bedroll by coach attendant as soon as they board the train. This will also increase the satisfaction of the passengers and they will feel that the railway is serious about their facilities.

First of all, we understand what is RAC ticket. Reservation Against cancellation i.e. RAC ticket is available when all berths are full, but the railway gives a kind of waiting ticket to the passengers, in which half the seat is confirmed. Two RAC passengers usually have to share one side lower seat. In such a situation, there is neither the facility of sleeping nor getting the entire bedroll. But now all these problems are going to be removed.

Now these facilities will be available

Under the new railway system, RAC passengers will now get these things:

1. Two cotton bedsheets
2. A hot blanket
3. A pillow
4. a towel

All these things will be packets and will be given during the journey. This will make the journey more clean, convenient and comfortable.
