This means that you have to link your ration card with Aadhaar. The last date for getting e-KYC done is 30 June 2025. That means you have only 13 days left now.

How to do e-KYC of ration card sitting at home?

It is very easy to do e-KYC of ration card from home. First of all you have to go to the NFSA website or the official website related to ration card of your state. 

There you will get the option of e-KYC or "Aadhaar Link", click on it. After this fill in your ration card number and Aadhaar number. 

When you fill this information, an OTP will come on your Aadhaar linked mobile number. Enter that OTP on the website. As soon as you enter the OTP and complete the process, your e-KYC will be done successfully.

E-KYC has now become mandatory!

The government has made it clear that now it is necessary to get e-KYC done for ration card. Its purpose is to find out whether the right people are getting the benefit of government ration or not. 

If you have not done e-KYC, then you may stop getting government ration. According to some reports, if many people do not get e-KYC done, then the ration card can also be canceled in future. 

So do not take it lightly. Only Aadhar card is required to get e-KYC done. If you do not have an Aadhar card, then get it made immediately. 

And if any information in the Aadhaar is wrong, then get it corrected first. Only after this you can start the process of e-KYC. Remember, the last date is 30 June 2025. After this you may have trouble getting ration, so get e-KYC done in time.

Online e-KYC is not happening in every state

According to reports, e-KYC of ration card is being done online in some states, but not everywhere. Therefore, you should get information about this from your village head or panchayat. 

If e-KYC is done online in your state, then follow the steps given below: Go to the state government's PDS website. Choose the option of "Ration Card Services" or "E-Services" there. 

Now you will get the option of e-KYC. Keep in mind that the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar card should be active, because OTP will come on it. 

Fill the ration card number and Aadhaar card details on the website. Verify Aadhaar with the OTP received on the mobile. As soon as the verification is complete, your e-KYC will be done. This work can also be done offline.
