UP News: 9 new expressways will be constructed in UP, created in the state
UP News: The people of Uttar Pradesh are going to enjoy a better journey soon. Because 9 new greenfield expressways are going to be constructed simultaneously in the state. Uttar Pradesh News: Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh is continuously building roads, highways and expressways to make the journey of the people of the state comfortable.
Due to this, in the coming days, Uttar Pradesh will be the state with the most roads in the country. Because soon a new record of expressways is going to be made in the state.
At present, vehicles are running fast on 6 expressways in the state and construction work is being done on 6 other expressways.
According to the information, the proposal for construction of 9 expressways in the state has been passed. These expressways include Lucknow Link Expressway, Chitrakoot to Rewa Link Expressway, Gorakhpur to Shamli Expressway, Meerut Haridwar Expressway and Gorakhpur Siliguri Expressway. More than Rs 20 thousand crore will be spent on these projects.
9 new expressways will be built
Uttar Pradesh will get the gift of 9 new expressways. Of these, seven will be built by UPDA and two by National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
After the construction of the new expressways, the total length of expressways in Uttar Pradesh will be 4374 km. This will be a record in the state. UP will become the only state to do so. It will take at least 5 years for any other state to even come close to this figure.
Employment and industrial development will get momentum
The ACEO of UPDA said that with the objective of connecting every district of the state with every part of the country by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, a network of expressways is being laid rapidly in the state.
Under this, a plan has been prepared to build 9 new expressways in the state. These expressways will give wings to the industrial development of the state.
Operations have started on these expressways
Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, whose length is 24.53 km. Yamuna Expressway, 165 km., Agra Lucknow Expressway, 302 km., Purvanchal Expressway, 341 km.
This is the largest expressway in UP to be operational till now. Bundelkhand Expressway, 296 km. Meerut – Delhi Expressway's length is 96 km.
These are the under construction express ways of UP
Gorakhpur Link Expressway- 91 km, Ganga Expressway- 594 km, Chitrakoot Link Expressway- 15.20 km, Delhi-Saharanpur Expressway- 210 km, Ballia Link Expressway- 114 km, Lucknow Kanpur Expressway- 63 km, Ganga Expressway will become the longest expressway in UP.

Lucknow Link Expressway- 49.96 km, it will be built from Agra-Lucknow Expressway to Purvanchal Expressway. Farrukhabad – Link Expressway 90.84 km from Ganga Expressway to Agra-Lucknow Expressway, Jewar Link Expressway – 74.30 km, Yamuna Express to Ganga Express via Bulandshahr, Jhansi Link Expressway- 118.90 km, Vindhya Expressway – 320 km, Meerut – Haridwar Link Expressway- 120 km, Chitrakoot to Rewa Link Expressway -70 km, Gorakhpur – Siliguri Expressway- 519 km, Gorakhpur – Shamli Expressway- 700 km.
