New township

Uttar Pradesh News: The ongoing development projects in Uttar Pradesh are now entering a new phase. Digital and modern infrastructure are being incorporated in the new townships being developed by the government, which will not only boost the local economy but will also create new employment opportunities.

The team of Varanasi Development Authority reached Varanasi district of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday to finalize the plan to build a new township near the International Cricket Stadium Ganjari.

After this, the team made the first attempt to explain the projects by discussing with the farmers. The district administration has started land acquisition after the Varanasi Development Authority Department did not collect the prescribed amount from the farmers.

About 1100 plots of land belonging to 267 farmers will be acquired

The registration office at that place informed that the circle rate of land is two to two hundred and fifty rupees per square meter, in which four times the rate is approximately 1100 rupees per square meter.

Now the Varanasi Development Authority has fixed compensation of ₹ 2100 per square meter of land, in which about 1100 land plot numbers of 267 farmers will be acquired.

This can increase the number of farmers and land plot numbers. A plan is being made to buy land at market price by talking to the farmers.

Decision to purchase land at market value

In the 133rd board meeting of Varanasi Development Authority in UP, a complete provision has been made to build a new township on 150 acres near Ganjari International Cricket Stadium at a cost of about Rs 1300 crore.

The Varanasi Development Authority Department has now decided to buy land from farmers at an amount of about Rs 25 lakh per bissa and at market price. Meanwhile, hotels, sports academies, group housing and malls have been announced in the new township.

Order to create new township

The team, led by Tehsildar Sunil Kumar Srivastava of Varanasi Development Authority, is discussing with the farmers and determining the rate of land, which also includes Prabhakar Pandey of Varanasi Development Authority. During this, the team is telling the farmers about the scheme.

After inspecting the international cricket team stadium being built in Ganjari, the government of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ordered to acquire land in the surrounding areas and build a new township.
