Uttar Pradesh News: Many schemes and projects are going on in Uttar Pradesh which will improve the connectivity of expressways. 

People will get better facilities and traffic and transportation will improve. Expressways connectivity will be increased in UP. In the last few years, the Uttar Pradesh government has made continuous efforts to improve the connectivity of roads. Four new road infrastructure projects in UP cost Rs 1050 crore, which will improve the connectivity of many districts. 

A great gift to the public

The establishment of four new expressways is a big gift to the people of UP. Along with employment, land prices also increase near the expressway, which also increases the economic income of farmers. Along with this, the budget for four new highways has also come. 

Finance Minister of Yogi government Suresh Khanna proposed a budget of Rs 1050 crore. This includes the construction of a green field expressway from Agra-Lucknow Expressway to Ganga Expressway Kausia, Hardoi via Farrukhabad. 

The government connected Hardoi and Farrukhabad districts to the Agra-Lucknow Expressway which were not connected to it till now.

Extension of Ganga Expressway, which connects Meerut to Haridwar

Last month, Kumbh's cabinet had proposed to connect Ganga Expressway to Sonbhadra by building Vindhya Expressway (Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi, Chandauli). 

The government will also expand Ganga Expressway to give better connectivity to Meerut-Haridwar with Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Also, budget was announced for the construction of Bundelkhand-Rewa Expressway connecting Madhya Pradesh.

How much budget will be allocated for the four expressways?

A total budget of Rs 1050 crore is proposed for these four highways. The maximum expenditure on the Greenfield Expressway will be Rs 900 crore. This was announced by Finance Minister Suresh Khanna while presenting the budget. 

An entry controlled Greenfield Expressway from Agra-Lucknow Expressway to Ganga Expressway Kausia, Hardoi via Farrukhabad will be constructed at a cost of Rs 900 crore.

Haridwar will be connected to Meerut

Apart from this, there is also a proposal of Rs 50 crore to build Vindhya Expressway to connect Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi, Chandauli and Sonbhadra with Ganga Expressway. 

Expansion of Ganga Expressway, which connects Meerut to Haridwar

Not only this, there is a proposal to build Ganga Expressway Extension Expressway to connect Haridwar and Meerut, which requires Rs 50 crore. Apart from this, Rs 50 crore will be required to build Bundelkhand-Rewa Expressway.
