Uttar Pradesh News: A new expressway will be built between two districts of Uttar Pradesh, which will ease traffic connectivity in 41 villages. 13300 acres of land will be acquired from farmers for the construction of this expressway.

It will now be easier to travel from Noida to Aligarh. Another new highway will be built here. The central government is working on several projects to provide better road network and better traffic to the people. 

Apart from this, the government is planning to build a new highway between Noida-Aligarh. This project will include 36 villages in Greater Noida and 5 villages in Aligarh.

Land acquisition 

It has been decided to acquire about 13,300 acres of land of these villages. It is being said that middlemen will not be involved in the process of land acquisition. 

Arrangements will be made to acquire land in a transparent manner by directly contacting the farmers during the project. YEIDA said that farmers selling land will be paid in their bank accounts.

Government announcement

The government has taken this decision to prevent corruption, win the trust of farmers and complete the process faster. This decision will also ensure that farmers get the real value of their land. 

The new expressway connects the areas around the Yamuna Expressway. The government is planning to make it an industrial hub and logistics corridor. Business will also grow from this and jobs will be generated.

Meeting on the project

On March 28, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) discussed the project. The project budget is proposed to be Rs 900 crore. 

Rs 5,000 crore has been earmarked for land acquisition alone. The remaining amount will be used for infrastructure and other development projects. 

The government, led by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, aims to not just enhance road connectivity but also boost the economic sector. New roads and expressways will reduce travel time.
