Recently, the Chairman of the National Highway Authority inspected this highway from Delhi to Dehradun by car. During this, he saw the preparations of the highway.
Construction agencies have also been ordered to complete the remaining work within a month. Union Minister of State for Road Transport Harsh Malhotra also visited by car last month and inspected the preparations.

When can the expressway be inaugurated?

Where is the work left to be done?
Most of the work on the Delhi-Dehradun highway has been completed. It is planned to complete the remaining work in the second phase between Delhi and Saharanpur.
Bhaju bridge in Shamli has also been completed. Service lanes are running from Bhaju to Butrada and Butrada to Lank. There will be a 6-lane Delhi-Dehradun Expressway.
Starting from Akshardham in Delhi, it will reach Dehradun via Baghpat, Shamli, Saharanpur districts. With the opening of this expressway, passengers traveling from Delhi to Ghaziabad and Loni will benefit a lot. There will be less traffic jam and the journey will be completed in less time.
