Delhi Dehradun Expressway Update: Road infrastructure is developing rapidly in the country. A strong road network is very important for better connectivity between the states. 

In this direction, another new expressway is being prepared, which will pass through three states. With the completion of this project, not only will the movement between these states be smooth, but there will also be a huge reduction in the traffic of the capital Delhi.

Inspection of this highway from Delhi to Dehradun

Recently, the Chairman of the National Highway Authority inspected this highway from Delhi to Dehradun by car. During this, he saw the preparations of the highway. 

Construction agencies have also been ordered to complete the remaining work within a month. Union Minister of State for Road Transport Harsh Malhotra also visited by car last month and inspected the preparations. 

Delhi-Dehradun Expressway is going to connect these three states (Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand). There is good news for the people waiting for its expansion.

When can the expressway be inaugurated?

According to media reports, the countdown for vehicles on the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway has started. Preparations are being made for its celebration. The Prime Minister may inaugurate it at the end of July.

It will be easier to cross three states

The Delhi-Dehradun highway passes through three states. That is, after the construction of the expressway, travel between Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand will become easier. One will be able to go from Delhi to Dehradun easily. Also, the traffic pressure on Delhi will be reduced.

Where is the work left to be done?

Most of the work on the Delhi-Dehradun highway has been completed. It is planned to complete the remaining work in the second phase between Delhi and Saharanpur. 

Bhaju bridge in Shamli has also been completed. Service lanes are running from Bhaju to Butrada and Butrada to Lank. There will be a 6-lane Delhi-Dehradun Expressway. 

Starting from Akshardham in Delhi, it will reach Dehradun via Baghpat, Shamli, Saharanpur districts. With the opening of this expressway, passengers traveling from Delhi to Ghaziabad and Loni will benefit a lot. There will be less traffic jam and the journey will be completed in less time.
