To solve the serious problem of increasing traffic and jam in the capital Delhi, an additional ring road can now be built above the ring road. This big plan has been made by Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Pravesh Verma.

To solve the serious problem of increasing traffic and jam in the capital Delhi, an additional ring road can now be built above the ring road. This big plan has been made by Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Pravesh Verma. He has ordered the departmental officials to analyze the suitability of the project.

A new elevated road

According to the plan, a new elevated road of about 80 kms will be built above the existing ring road. It will be extended to Noida, Gurugram and Indira Gandhi International Airport.

This will also ease movement in NCR cities. The PWD minister, while giving instructions to the department, said that Delhi's current ring road and outer ring road have reached the limit of their carrying capacity and there is traffic jam on the ring road almost throughout the day. The newly developed ring road can help a lot in making the capital free from jams.

The new road will have to pass above the flyovers, elevated metro stations and other infrastructure of the existing ring road. Officials said that the project will create a "third layer" on the existing ring road.

A stadium will be built in Jhadoda Kalan village

A new stadium will be built on five acres in Jharoda Kalan village in West Delhi. The stadium will have many facilities for students and professional players.

The Municipal Corporation has set a target to build it within the next eight months to one year. The stadium can accommodate 2500 people at a time. It will have a football court, running track, two badminton courts, a basketball court and indoor games facilities, which will be available to young players and school-college students.

A large hall will be built for indoor games. It includes table tennis, carrom and other games. Rs 3 crore will be spent to build this stadium.

The foundation stone of the stadium was laid on Saturday. Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, West Delhi MP Kamaljit Sehrawat, Najafgarh Ward Councilor Amit Kharkhari and Najafgarh MLA Neelam attended the function organized on this occasion.
