Construction contract to the company
The reconstruction of Indore's main railway station will begin soon. The new station will be ready to open by Simhastha. During the construction, some trains from the main railway station will run at Laxmibai Nagar railway station, while trains will also run from the main railway station. An Ahmedabad-based company has been given the contract for construction.
Four hundred and fifty crore rupees will be spent
About Rs 450 crore will be spent on this project. Funds have also been allocated for this in the railway budget. This building will be four storeyed and the railway station will have modern facilities. Railways will also focus on passenger facilities. What changes will be made at the railway station during construction and which parts should be closed? On Friday evening, MP Shankar Lalwani will meet the concerned departments regarding this issue.

The new station will be built like an airport. Shops and food areas will be inside. Passengers will get comfortable foot over bridges, escalators, ticket counters and sheds.
Waiting rooms will be bigger and more modern than before. Let us tell you that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had performed the Bhoomi Pujan of Indore Railway Station before the Lok Sabha elections, but the work has not started yet. Work can start from next month.
