New 112 km long 4 lane highway will be built in UP, it will provide relief from traffic jams and accidents

Uttar Pradesh News: This highway will pass through 96 villages of the state. Its outline has been prepared after the instructions of Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari. After the construction of this highway, the traffic burden on Kanpur Sagar road will be reduced.
A green highway will be built to connect new rural areas in Kanpur-Kabrai of Uttar Pradesh. New areas will be identified for this. The purpose of building this green highway will be to develop rural areas by connecting them except the densely populated areas.
Actually, let us tell you that the detailed project report of Kanpur-Kabrai Green Highway in UP is awaiting budget approval along with its budget. Recently, IAS Vishal Chauhan, Administrative Member of Road Transport Ministry, while going to Jhansi, conducted a site inspection as well as a review meeting with NHAI officials.
Will get the green signal soon
Its detailed report has been sent. The project director of NHAI said that soon the budget is expected to get the green signal along with the approval of DPR.
In March, the National Planning Group had given approval for the construction of Kanpur-Kabrai Green Highway. The four-lane green highway project to be built from Kanpur to Kabrai will be 112 kilometers long. The budget expenditure for its construction is estimated to be around Rs 3700 crore.
After the order of Union Transport Road and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari, the outline of the construction of this green highway has started being prepared.
The green highway will pass through the boundaries of 96 villages of Kanpur Nagar, Fatehpur, Hamirpur and Mahoba districts.
Traffic burden will decrease on Kanpur-Sagar road
With the construction of this highway, the burden of vehicles on the Kanpur-Sagar route will also be reduced. The green highway will be built like the Bundelkhand Expressway.
In the year 2021, the central government had decided to build a green highway parallel to the Kanpur-Sagar National Highway till Kabrai in Mahoba district.
NHAI officials said that last week, while going to Jhansi, Administrative Member of Road Transport Ministry Vishal Chauhan reviewed and inspected the proposed highway. A detailed report has been sent in this regard. DPR along with budget approval may be received by 25th June this month.
