Rajasthan Weather: Monsoon has become active in Rajasthan. Along with the capital Jaipur, Kota, Bhilwara, Baran, Bundi, Chittorgarh and Dausa have been receiving intermittent rain since Friday morning. 

At the same time, many districts are cloudy since morning. The Meteorological Department has issued a double alert of rain for 22 districts of the state today. 

Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in most parts of the state for the next four days. During this time, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange and yellow alert, which means that there may be a possibility of heavy rain and thunderstorms at some places.

Highest rainfall in Bijolia in Rajasthan

In the last 24 hours, the highest rainfall of 114 mm was recorded in Bijolia in Bhilwara district of Rajasthan. On the other hand, the highest temperature in the state was recorded in Jaisalmer, where the mercury reached 44.6 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, heavy rains were also seen at some places in Jaipur, Bhilwara, Kota, Banswara, Chittorgarh, Bundi, Baran, Karauli and Pratapgarh districts.

In the last 24 hours, five areas of Rajasthan have recorded more than 100 mm of rain. According to the Meteorological Department, Jaipur, Bijolia in Bhilwara received the highest rainfall of 114 mm. 

Apart from this, 112 mm rain was recorded in Ramganj Mandi of Kota, 110 mm in Shahpura of Bhilwara, 107 mm in Danpur of Banswara and 100 mm in Nimbahera of Chittorgarh. Due to heavy rains in these areas, the weather has become cool and there is relief from the heat.

Rain alert in these districts today

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain, thunder and lightning in 28 districts of Rajasthan today. These districts include: 

Ajmer, Alwar, Banswara, Baran, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dausa, Dholpur, Dungarpur, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Kota, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar, Sirohi, Tonk, Udaipur, Churu, Nagaur, Pali, Hanumangarh and Jodhpur. 

The Meteorological Department has said that strong winds can also blow in these areas, whose speed can be up to 40 to 50 kilometers per hour. Therefore, it is important to be cautious.

There is a possibility of rain in these districts for the next three days

There may be rain in many districts of Rajasthan on June 21. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain in Ajmer, Alwar, Banswara, Baran, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dausa, Dholpur, Dungarpur, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Kota, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar, Sirohi, Tonk, Udaipur, Churu, Nagaur and Pali districts. Light to moderate rain is expected in these districts, so people have been advised to be cautious.

Yellow alert for rain in these districts on June 22

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain in 26 districts of Rajasthan on June 22. These districts include Ajmer, Alwar, Banswara, Baran, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dausa, Dholpur, Dungarpur, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Kota, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar, Sirohi, Tonk, Udaipur, Churu, Nagaur and Pali. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in these areas.

Rain alert in these districts on 23 June

The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in many districts on June 23. There is a yellow alert in Ajmer, Alwar, Banswara, Baran, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Dausa, Dholpur, Dungarpur, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Kota, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sikar, Sirohi, Udaipur, Churu, Nagaur, Pali, Bikaner, Hanumangarh, Jalore and Sri Ganganagar. At the same time, an orange alert has been issued for rain in Sawai Madhopur, Tonk and Bundi. There may be heavy rain in these areas, so people should be careful.
