News, Digital Desk: There is news of relief once again in the bullion market which has been facing a boom for a long time. Gold prices have declined today, while no change has been seen in silver prices. For those who had postponed buying till now, this time can prove to be very beneficial in terms of buying gold.

After the prices have been rising continuously for the past few weeks, gold has now become cheaper. According to the latest data, the price of 24 carat gold has come down by Rs 1,100 per 10 grams, while the price of 22 carat gold has also fallen by Rs 1,050. In contrast, silver is still being sold at a stable price of Rs 1,20,000 per kilogram.

Even after the wedding season, the demand for jewellery remains in the market. In such a situation, this fall has brought relief to those buyers who were waiting for the prices to come down for a long time.

Talking about the latest price of gold, today 22 carat gold has reached Rs 93,800 per 10 grams, whereas yesterday its price was Rs 94,850. Whereas 24 carat gold which was Rs 99,590 per 10 grams yesterday, has now come down to Rs 98,490.

This decline has been especially recorded in Ranchi, where the price of gold of both carats has seen a significant decrease today as compared to the previous day. However, there has been no change in the rate of silver. It is being sold at ₹ 1,20,000 per kg both yesterday and today.

Experts believe that this fall in prices is due to the turmoil in the international market and the fluctuations in the rupee against the dollar. There is demand in the market, but prices are currently moving towards equilibrium.

Customers who are thinking of buying gold are advised to buy only hallmarked gold. The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), an organization authorized by the Government of India, issues hallmark certification, which is proof of the purity of gold. There are different hallmark codes for each carat, it would be wise to make a purchase only after looking at them.
