UP News: 320 km long 6 lane expressway will be built in UP, the high speed route will pass
The Yogi government is going to start the construction of Vindhya Expressway and Vindhya-Purvanchal Link Expressway from July. This 320 km long expressway will go from Prayagraj to Sonbhadra, which will provide direct connectivity to Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Bundelkhand. This will greatly benefit religious tourism, business and employment.
UP News: Yogi government is going to start the construction of Vindhya Expressway from July. Along with this, another road will be built, which will be named Vindhya-Purvanchal Link Expressway.
Vindhya Expressway will be about 320 kilometers long. It was announced by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during the Kumbh Mela. This road will pass through 5 districts of Uttar Pradesh.
This expressway will start from Prayagraj and go to Sonbhadra via Mirzapur, Varanasi, Chandauli. This road will also have direct connectivity with Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. UPDA will get it constructed.
Vindhya-Purvanchal Link Expressway
Another new road will be built along with Vindhya Expressway, which will directly connect to Purvanchal. It will be named Vindhya-Purvanchal Link Expressway.
This link road will be about 100 kilometers long.
It will start from Chandauli and connect to Purvanchal Expressway at Ghazipur.
This road will be six lanes.
Approximately Rs 7000 crore will be spent on its construction.
Association with religious field
The Yogi government is developing a religious zone between Prayagraj and Varanasi. This includes Prayagraj, Varanasi, Mirzapur, Bhadohi, Chandauli, Ghazipur and Jaunpur. Niti Aayog is making a plan to promote tourism and industry in this religious zone. This will increase employment opportunities in these areas.
Vindhyachal-Varanasi Economic Zone will benefit
This expressway will accelerate economic development between Varanasi and Vindhyachal. Mega industrial parks will be built here and tourism will be promoted.
Niti Aayog wants that when devotees come to this area, they should visit all the districts. This will strengthen the economy of the entire Purvanchal.
