Free Silai Machine Yojana 2025: The government has taken another big step towards women empowerment. Free Sewing Machine Scheme 2025 has been started across the country in collaboration with the Central and State Governments. The objective of this scheme is to connect women of economically weaker sections with self-employment so that they can become self-reliant and contribute to the family income.

Free Silai Machine Yojana 2025: This scheme is especially for those women who live in rural or urban areas and whose financial condition is not strong. Under the scheme, the government provides sewing machines to eligible women for free. With this, women can start sewing clothes sitting at home and earn a stable income.

Along with sewing training, an allowance of ₹ 500 will be given per day

Under the Free Sewing Machine Scheme, women will be given not only sewing machines but also sewing training. The duration of this training can be from 5 to 15 days. During this, the government will also provide a training allowance of ₹ 500 per day to the trainee women, so that they can get training without any financial burden.

You will be able to buy a machine with financial assistance of up to ₹ 15,000

Under this scheme, eligible women are given financial assistance of up to ₹ 15,000 so that they can buy their sewing machine. Apart from this, the government can also provide a loan of Rs 2 to 3 lakh to women for sewing related work in future. With this, women can take their business forward in the field of sewing.

Strong initiative towards women empowerment

The aim of the government is not only to provide financial help to women, but also to make them self-reliant and strengthen their role in society. Through the sewing machine scheme, women are being given an opportunity to work according to their skills, so that they can feel empowered.

Eligibility fixed for the scheme

To avail the Free Sewing Machine Scheme, the age of women should be between 20 to 40 years. The woman should be an Indian citizen and her husband's annual income should not exceed ₹ 1.44 lakh. Widows, disabled and women living below the poverty line will also be eligible for this scheme.

The application process will be completely digital

The application process for this scheme has been kept completely online. Interested women will go to the government portal and do OTP verification by entering their mobile number. After this, they will have to fill their personal information in the form and upload the necessary documents like Aadhar card, bank details, income certificate etc. After submission, they will get an application number from which they can also track the status.
