Cardamom Rate 5 July 2025: With minimal carryover stock due to poor production last year, the pipeline in the market is still clean, which is giving the sentiment of further rise in prices.

The decline at the production centers has reduced the prices of coconut shell and bura in the domestic market. The off-season of black pepper supply is about to start and its domestic demand and consumption is likely to increase in the festive season ahead. Production decreased in the 2024-25 season while exports from the country increased.

If spice oil and oleoresin manufacturers show good interest in buying black pepper and there is limited import from abroad, then there may be some increase in prices.
