The government linked the data of Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) and vehicle registration and when the records were matched, it was revealed that thousands of people were taking advantage of government schemes by giving false information.

Why were more than 70 thousand names removed?
- According to the rules of Haryana Government, only those people can get BPL card:
- Whose annual income is less than ₹ 1.80 lakh
- those who do not own a vehicle
- Who are not Income Tax Payers
- and who are permanent residents of Haryana
