Haryana news: More than 6 lakh people have been removed from the BPL list in Haryana, let's know the reason behind this...

BPL Card news

Haryana news: The Haryana government has once again made a big cut in the BPL (below poverty line) category. According to the latest data released by the state's food and supply department, 6.36 lakh families have been excluded from the BPL list.

Now only 46 lakh 14 thousand 604 families are left in the BPL category in the state whereas two months ago this number was 52 lakh 50 thousand 740. The government has stated the annual income of these families to be more than Rs 1.80 lakh and it has also been said that they have expensive vehicles.

On this basis, their names have been removed from the BPL list. This means that from the month of August, these families will no longer get free ration provided by the government.

Complaints of errors in family ID

Questions are now being raised on this decision of the government. Many people say that their family income has been increased without any survey or investigation. Some families said that they do not even have a two-wheeler, yet expensive cars have been registered in their name in the family ID.

Many people allege that they have never bought any vehicle, yet vehicles are shown in their name in the records. People have demanded that these cases be investigated and the families who have been wrongly excluded from the BPL list should be added to the list again.
