Will net banking, UPI and ATM work on holidays?
- Yes, absolutely. Banks being closed does not mean that you cannot do your digital transactions. Net banking, mobile banking, UPI and ATM services will be available 24×7. But some services may be delayed:
- Check clearance, KYC update, draft making or account closing – you will have to do these tasks by going to the bank
- So if there is any work in which it is necessary to go to the bank, then it would be better to finish it beforehand.
What will happen to loan and FD related services during holidays?
On holidays, bank related loan approval, fixed deposit renewal, mortgage clearance, counter transactions, etc. will remain closed. In such a situation, if your loan EMI or FD maturity is falling on these days, then keep the auto debit option on or go and do the work a day in advance.
Why is it important to see the RBI bank holiday list?
