RAC में यात्रा करना हुआ आसान, आम आदमी को भी मिलेगी नेता जैसी सुविधा RAC New Rule 2025
RAC New Rule 2025 – If you are also one of those millions of people who travel on RAC ticket, then this news is really going to make you happy. Now passengers with RAC i.e. Reservation Against Cancellation will also be given bedroll facility like those with confirmed tickets. Yes, Railways has implemented a new system from 2025 in which RAC passengers will now get their own packaged bedroll instead of sharing.

Digital Desk: Till now RAC passengers used to share the same seat during the journey and the bedroll was also given half-half. The result was that they had to face cold or discomfort throughout the night. Many times two strangers had to share the same blanket or pillow, which also created a situation of dispute. After continuous complaints from the passengers, the Railways has taken this big step to end this inconvenience.
Now every RAC passenger will get a complete bedroll set
Under the new system, every RAC passenger will get a complete packaged bedroll. What will be in it? Two bedsheets, one pillow, one blanket and one towel – that is, complete VIP-like facilities. This will not only make the journey better but passengers will also get the same respect as those with confirmed tickets.
What did the railway spokesperson say?
Railway Public Relations Officer (Varanasi), Ashok Kumar clarified that now RAC passengers will also be given facilities equal to those with confirmed tickets. As soon as they board the train, the coach attendant will go to them and give them bedroll. This decision has been taken keeping in mind the satisfaction and convenience of the passengers. Now they will not get half the facilities like before, rather every passenger will be treated equally.
Now there will be no complaint of cold and uncomfortable journey
Earlier RAC passengers not only had to share seats, but also had to share bedroll. Because of this, the whole night journey became a headache – feeling cold, not being able to sleep and feeling uncomfortable with those sitting on the other seat was common. But now due to the new facility, passengers will be able to enjoy the journey without any hassle.
There will be a change in facilities – in mentality too
The effect of this new system will not be limited to facilities only, but it will also end the discrimination against RAC passengers. Earlier, people used to consider RAC passengers as inferior – they had to listen to taunts like “I don’t have a full ticket”. But now when the facilities will be the same, they will get the same respect.
Railway infrastructure is also becoming hi-tech
Not just bedroll facilities, the entire system of railways is now being upgraded. IRCTC and IRFC have been given the status of Navratna company. Vande Bharat train has run on the world’s highest railway bridge in Jammu and Kashmir. That means the railways are now competing with the big countries of the world in terms of technology and facilities.
Coach attendant will be responsible
Railways has also decided that the responsibility of giving bedroll to the passengers will now be of the coach attendant. As soon as the passenger reaches the seat, the coach attendant will have to give the bedroll – so that there are no complaints like “I had to ask for it”, “No one came”. This will further improve the travel experience and also increase the confidence of the passengers.
Overall, this initiative of the Railways is the beginning of relief and respect for lakhs of RAC passengers. Now they too will be able to travel in AC coaches without any hesitation, that too with full comfort and respect. This step of the Railways has moved more towards giving equality to the passengers on a human level than giving them convenience – and this is the real change.
