Uttar Pradesh News: With the aim of facilitating passengers and making traffic smooth, the Yogi government has planned to build five new modern bus stands in this district.

165 acres of land has been reserved for these bus stands. Private bus stands will soon be built in front of roadways bus stands in Lucknow. LDA has selected five places to build bus parks under the PPP model.

The developer will get 30% commercial use exemption in the area and will have to pay service charge per bus. The amount will be determined under the chairmanship of DM. According to the new policy, private bus stands will be built for buses parked on the roads.

Investments started in both the sectors

Private bus parks will soon be built in front of roadways bus stands in the capital. Five places have been selected on LDA land, and applications have also been sought for additional places.

Private bus parks will be built under private public partnership. The developer will be allowed to use 30 percent of the two-acre area for commercial purposes. Service charges will also be levied on every bus, which will be determined by a committee headed by the District Magistrate.

Under the leadership of District Magistrate Vishakh ji, investment has started in both private and public sectors in the state through Stage Carriage Bus Stand, Contract Carriage and All India Tourist Bus Park (Establishment and Regulation) Policy 2025.

165 acres of land

According to the policy, the district administration will allow private buses to build bus stations on the roads. The bus terminal land listed in the master plan of Lucknow Development Authority and municipal corporation land can also be useful in this scheme.

Secretary LDA Vivek Srivastava said that 165 acres of government land has been earmarked for the bus station in their master plan. This land is located on Basant Kunj, Mohanlalganj, Mohan Road, Juggar and Sultanpur Road.

Seventy percent of the land will be open space

The District Magistrate said that the 165 acres of land identified and reserved by the authority should be inspected by the concerned tehsil and a meeting of all the state owners should be held in LDA.

After this, the committee will meet with the interested developer by June 20. It was also said that the land required for the bus stand should be determined by the Municipal Corporation or the entire Sub-District Magistrate.

Seventy percent of the determined land will be open space, which will have traffic routes and bus parking. 30 percent of the area will have passenger facilities and other facilities. The land will either be with the applicant or will be with the applicant for more than 10 years on the basis of a registered lease.

Separate routes will be made for passengers to reach the park so that there is no inconvenience in their safety and movement. AARTO Administration Pradeep Kumar Singh said that all the work related to inviting applications and setting up of the stage carriage bus stand will be done by the Bus Stand / Bus Park Regulatory Authority constituted under the chairmanship of DM.
