5,200 acres of land acquired

On Friday, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) said that in the last five years it has acquired at least 5,200 acres of land for the development of the project, which will grow rapidly due to its proximity to the Noida International Airport.

The airport is going to be operational soon. YEIDA announced that it is preparing a land bank for the development of four new zones (4A, 5A and 11).

These zones will include Japanese City, Korean City and Fintech City apart from residential, industrial and institutional projects. The authority aims to buy 5,000 acres of land directly from 2,000 farmers.

Willing to sell land

We are talking to farmers and approaching those who are willing to sell land. In the last five years, we have bought 5,200 acres of land and we will continue to do so, said the YEIDA official.

The Korean city will be built in Sector 4A, requiring 365 acres of land, and the Japanese city will be built in Sector 5A, requiring 395 acres of land, YEIDA said. 750 acres of land will be given in Sector 11 for the FinTech City.

Sector 5 will focus on group housing and other residential projects, with land set aside for special facilities, such as orphanages and children's homes.

Hotels, malls and offices will also be built

Multi-land use projects will be permitted in Japanese and Korean industrial cities.

This includes industrial, residential, commercial and institutional land use, to build homes, hotels, malls and offices, etc.

The goal is to provide all the necessary amenities in the city so that Japanese people can feel at home, while preserving their culture.

With the airport coming up soon, we are working on completing all these important projects.
